Making a positive impact by telling inspiring stories is our passion. 


Founded in 2007 by Michael Love, Sage Hill Films creates prizewinning films from concept to completion. Our primary focus has been inspirational documentaries about the natural world and the arts. Clients and collaborators include who’s who in the environmental world: Audubon, US Fish and Wildlife Service, California Department of Fish and Wildlife, UC Natural Reserve System, Cheadle Center for Biodiversity and Ecological Restoration, Bighorn Sheep Foundation, UC Santa Barbara, US National Parks, and The Nature Conservancy. 


Our films have been screened locally, nationally, and internationally, at film festivals, movie theaters, network and streaming television, museums, libraries, and nature centers, including the acclaimed Bring Back the Wild Series.
